Family Photos

I have been going through my family photos again. So many photos without dates or names. My mother had kept them in paper bags. I am not much better. Mine are in boxes.

This is another addition to my project of documenting family history. It is kind of a fun project when I have the time. Today, with the snow storm, was a good day to create another page.

When I was little, I knew my grandmother as an old person. It would have been fun to know her here in her youth.

Here I am in the early 1950’s holding hands with my grandmother. I had to be between 2-3 years old her. My grandmother was somewhere around 66. She was sharp until she died.

She was a true blessing in my life.

  1. It seems like you have some interesting thoughts about family. I’m starting a magazine, Nectar, and our current issue is “Evidence of Home.” You should take a look and see if it’s something that you would be interested in submitting to.
